MADY KABRE, FIE SPECIAL PRIZE WINNER, TAKES POSSESSION OF CHECK
The Director General of the Environmental Intervention Fund (FIE), Delwendé Davy NANEMA, officially presented the check worth one million (1,000,000) FCFA to Mady KABRE, journalist from Editions Sidwaya , who won the special prize of the Environmental Intervention Fund (FIE), on the occasion of the 28th edition of the “ Galian ” prizes, this Thursday, July 24, 2025, in Ouagadougou.
By awarding this prize on behalf of the Ministry of the Environment, Water and Sanitation for the second time, the FIE intends to encourage media professionals to take a greater interest in environmental issues, raising awareness of good and bad practices in the sector, in order to better preserve our environment.
For the record, with her work entitled: " Harmful practices on plant species in Burkina Faso: early picking of wild fruits in the Center-West: towards a gradual disappearance of species ", Mady KABRE won the special prize from the Environmental Intervention Fund, on June 13, 2025, on the occasion of the 28th edition of the " Galian ", a prestigious ceremony celebrating journalistic excellence in Burkina Faso.
