Adama OUANDE, Registration number 112 342 E, Treasury Controller, 1st class, 5th step; appointed Chief Accountant of the Environmental Intervention Fund (FIE); in the Council of Ministers on January 9, 2025, was installed in his functions, this Tuesday, January 21, 2025 in Ouagadougou, by the General Directorate of Real Estate Affairs and State Equipment (DGAIE).

According to the representative of the DGAIE who carried out the installation of Mr. OUANDE, his main mission consists of the administrative and accounting monitoring of movable and immovable property in service or in stock and the intangible assets held or under the control of the establishment.

In more detail, it is the responsibility of the CPM, among other things, to make a periodic inventory of the FIE's materials; monitor and control the movements of materials; keep the mandatory accounting documents; manage fuel and lubricants; manage rolling stock; manage equipment stocks; certify the final invoices of suppliers and produce an annual management account which will be judged by the Court of Auditors.

The representative of the DGAIE indicated that the actions of the new Principal Accountant of the FIE should contribute to the control of the State's standard of living as recommended by the authorities; while emphasizing that his commitment, dedication and loyalty to the regulations relating to the management of State property and other public bodies in force should be his compass for the success of his mission.

After his installation, Adama OUANDE expressed his gratitude to the authorities for the choice of his person as CPM of the FIE. He said he considered this responsibility as a trust in which " I must not fail and I measure, you probably agree with me, the full scope of it ". Mr. OUANDE pledged to do his utmost to ensure, with the greatest loyalty and probity, the responsibilities that will now be entrusted to him.

The Director General of FIE, Delwendé Davy NANEMA congratulated Adama OUANDE on his appointment. He stressed that this meets the requirements of the management of State Public Establishments, while hoping that the CPM of FIE will contribute to the healthy management of the structure's assets. He reassured Mr. OUANDE of his availability to support him in his mission so that it is a success.
