A FIRST EXTRAORDINARY SESSION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS FOR THE ADOPTION OF DOCUMENTS

The Environmental Intervention Fund (FIE) held the first extraordinary session of its Board of Directors (BoD) this Friday, May 16, 2025, in Ouagadougou. Chaired by its President, Mrs. Wend -La-Mita Brigite Marie Suzanne COMPAORE/YONI, the session had several items on its agenda, including the review and adoption of documents prepared as part of the FIE's accreditation as a direct access entity to the Green Climate Fund (GCF).

Thus, during the session, the administrators adopted the procurement management manual, the policy on combating fraud and corruption; the policy on combating money laundering and the financing of terrorism, the grievance management manual and the monitoring and evaluation manual.

Readiness Procurement Plan (PPM) developed within the framework of the FIE accreditation to the FVC and adopted a proposal to take out an administrative lease on behalf of the FIE North Regional Branch.

The adoption of these documents will enable the FIE, already accredited to the Green Climate Fund, to comply with the requirements of this mechanism for mobilizing funds for the benefit of the climate.
