DISCUSSIONS CONTINUE ON DAY TWO

Discussions continue on the second and final day of the national workshop for stakeholders involved in mobilizing endogenous environmental resources. Organized by the Environmental Intervention Fund (FIE), on December 3rd and 4th, 2025, the meeting is themed " Environmental Sovereignty and the Mobilization of Endogenous Resources: Challenges and Opportunities for Burkina Faso ".
The overall objective of this first session is to strengthen the synergy of actions between stakeholders to increase the mobilization of domestic environmental financing for the benefit of Burkina Faso. During the two-day workshop, the focus will be on... to present the different missions of the actors involved in the mobilization of endogenous resources in environmental matters; analyze the existing mechanisms of internal mobilization and their limitations; to identify new innovative approaches adapted to the Burkinabe context; to arrive at recommendations and an operational roadmap for sustainable financing of environmental actions.
On the second day, the presentations covered various topics. Presentation 4 was entitled: “Corporate Social Responsibility and Strategies for Mobilizing Endogenous Resources.” It was led by Mr. Kérabouro PALE, Tax Inspector, CSR expert, and Managing Director of Burkina Suudu. Bawdé . After defining CSR, he proposed ways to encourage companies to contribute to CSR in favor of the environment, in order to address the environmental peril in Burkina Faso.
Panel 4 focuses on : “Thematic fund for sustainable management of forest and wildlife resources: Institutional and regulatory mechanisms, role of actors and prospects for increased mobilization of endogenous resources”.

As for panel 5, it is entitled: "Thematic fund for sustainable land and water resource management: Institutional and regulatory mechanisms, role of actors and prospects for increased mobilization of endogenous resources".
Panels 6 and 7 focus on: “Thematic Fund for Responses to Risks and Disasters: Institutional and regulatory mechanisms, role of actors and prospects for increased mobilization of endogenous resources” and “Thematic Fund for the promotion of sustainable practices in the productive and energy sectors: Institutional and regulatory mechanisms, role of actors and prospects for increased mobilization of endogenous resources”.
The 8th and final panel is entitled "Contribution of the private sector and NGOs to the mobilization of endogenous resources in environmental matters".
These presentations and panels are led by experts from various fields.
