The Environmental Intervention Fund (FIE) is strengthening the capacities of its support staff on civil service ethics, from Monday 11 to Friday 15 November 2024 in Ouagadougou.
The objective of the training is to enable participants to know and apply the rules and ethics that govern public administration. At the end of the five days of training, participants must be able to define the concepts of ethics and professional conduct; understand the rights and duties of public officials and identify situations that could jeopardize their ethics and professional conduct. They must also be able to adopt an attitude that complies with the discipline in force in the civil service and apply the values and principles of ethics prescribed by the FIE texts.
The participants in this activity are all the FIE support staff, numbering eighteen (18). These are six (6) drivers; six (6) liaison officers and six (6) guards.
According to the Director of Human Resources of the FIE, Nogodo SIMPORE, representing the Director General, the FIE is committed to training its support staff on the Code of Ethics and Administrative Professional Conduct in order to improve the quality of labor and social relations. This involves getting them to comply with and respect the standards of management of public property; respect for the hierarchy; professional secrecy; continuity of service; effectiveness and efficiency; responsibility and rigorous application of laws, regulations and internal standards.
The training is provided by Mr. Paul OUEDRAOGO, technical advisor at the Ministry of the Environment, Water and Sanitation (MEEA).
