FIE AND ANEVE CONTINUE THEIR REFLECTION
Executives from the National Agency for Environmental Assessments (ANEVE) and those from the Environmental Intervention Fund (FIE) had a working session this Wednesday, January 22, 2025 in Ouagadougou.
At the heart of the discussions were reflections on the methodological note for conducting the work of reflection for improving the process of implementing the compensation plantations planned within the framework of environmental assessments.
This working session is a logical continuation of the courtesy visit made by the Director General of the FIE to ANEVE on January 8, 2025, with the aim of strengthening collaboration between the two structures to successfully carry out environmental projects to achieve the objectives of the Ministry of the Environment, Water and Sanitation.
At the end of the meeting of January 8, 2025, the FIE had committed to producing a methodological note on the operationalization of the compensation and alignment plantation sub-window that will guide the process. Today's meeting thus allowed participants to examine said note in order to improve it to better guide and facilitate the implementation of the rest of the actions.
